| Laconia Housing Authority manages housing rental programs for people with low income or limited means including seniors and handicapped.
The LHA manages only one "Public Housing Project". This is the Sunrise Towers on the corner of Union Avenue and South Main Street. The current program called Section 8 provides rent subsidies which are paid directly to the landlord. All section 8 properties return market rate rents to the landlord and pay full assessed property values.
