Affordable Housing/Resident Manager - Laconia Housing

 

Ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience with elderly and disabled residents

  • Strong resident mitigating skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Microsoft Office: SharePoint, Word, Excel, etc.)

  • Direct but patient demeanor

  • Attention to detail and the ability to follow through

  • Ability to meet deadlines

  • Ability to work independently and make sound, thoughtful decisions

  • Ability to be flexible and prioritize tasks

  • Experience in affordable subsidized housing, but will train

  • Experience communication with residents and others on social, emotional, and mental health needs’ and then provide, develop, and aide them in accessing services to meet their needs – from outside community services as needed.

  • Ability to remain within mandated guidelines and scope of service

 

Responsibilities included but are not limited to:

  • Work effectively with Laconia Housing Home Health Agency Department, which services Choices for Independence program to the residents

  • Work with outside case managers and programs to address residents needs

  • Daily management of property

  • Manage wait list applicants to improve vacancy rates.

  • Maintaining vacancies and turn-over of units with less than 15 days to occupancy

General Maintenance Staff Position - Laconia

 

Compensation:

Salary commensurate to experience
 

Employment Type:

Full-time - weekends scheduling to be shared with the team

 

Laconia Housing, a property management and support services agency, is looking to fill a full-time position in our maintenance department. This position requires knowledge of a range of equipment and procedures such as landscaping, lawn care, snow removal, custodial, floor care, etc. (will train)

 

The ability to operate a plow truck is a plus. Applicants must be able to lift and transfer 50 lbs. on a regular basis and possess a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
