TENANTS

Laconia Housing offers several different housing options, including subsidized housing opportunities at properties apartment buildings we own and manage, and assistance for low-income families through the Housing Choice Voucher program.

The Housing Choice Voucher program (formerly known as Section 8), provides rent assistance for low-income families in the private rental market through housing assistance payments. Program participants normally pay no more than 30 percent of their monthly adjusted income toward rent and utilities.

The housing assistance payment subsidizes the balance of the rent paid to the owner/landlord. For more information, visit the Housing Choice Vouchers information page. To apply for the Housing Voucher Choice Program or for housing at one of our properties, download our housing application. You can also reference our Belknap County Housing Guide.
