Housing Department restructured at Laconia Housing

As part of Laconia Housing’s on-going effort to deliver our housing programs and services in the most cost efficient and effective manner, the Housing Department has recently been restructured. Effective on June 1, 2017, Kelly McAdam has been promoted to the new position of Housing Director. In her new role Kelly will be responsible for the overall operation of both the property management and Housing Choice Voucher functions. This change to Kelly’s job necessitates a reassignment of duties for other staff in the Housing Department.

The Housing Choice Voucher program will now be administered by Leah Britton and Teresa Scheibert. Deb Byers will be responsible for property management at Tavern Inn, Normandin Square, and Perley Pond Townhouses. Sunrise Towers, Northfield Village, and Orchard Hill will be managed by Bonnie Descoteaux. Julie Partridge’s position will be expanded to include regular inspections of all Laconia Housing owned dwelling units to insure that each tenant’s unit is maintained properly and that they have access to services as necessary. Laura Cogburn will become the new Housing Program Assistant to provide administrative and process support to the property managers and the Housing Director. Kathy Kreitzer will continue to process work order requests and tenant requests for forms for changes in household income and composition.

Although the transition to new jobs and responsibilities will take some time to fully implement, the new organizational structure will allow Laconia Housing to provide our housing tenants and clients with the best possible services that our resources can support.
