Maureen E. Stetson is Laconia Housing’s new Property Manager


Maureen Stetson has joined the Laconia Housing team as a Property Manager. Maureen brings 27 years of experience working with affordable housing. Currently Maureen manages 3 of Laconia Housing Properties - The Tavern Inn apartments, Normandin Square Apartments and Perley Pond Townhouses.

Her experiences include managing U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development-assisted properties as well as Low-Income Housing Tax Credit projects. Maureen relocated from Massachusetts to live in New Hampshire last year. In her spare time she loves bird watching, boating and riding motorcycles with her husband.

Laconia Housing is glad to have her, as it is planning to expand with the new Sunrise House Project, a 16 new unit next to Sunrise Towers, specializing in Choice for Independence residence.The Choices for Independence (CFI) program is a Medicaid Home and Community Based Care waiver program. The CFI program serves individuals financially eligible for Medicaid coverage and clinically eligible for long term care services.

Today, Laconia Housing provides housing opportunities for nearly 1500 area residents, including the elderly, senior housing, disabled, working families, and professionals.

Laconia Housing has invested in the Lakes Region community for nearly 50 years – offering affordable housing and services to local residents. In addition to the housing owned and managed, Laconia Housing administers housing choice vouchers that allow income eligible residents to live in privately owned apartments.
